how I started for less than $3
1. email list (free)
100% of my sales and commissions are a direct result of EMAIL marketing – not social media, not DMs, not links in my bio, but emails! They say the money is in the list for a very good reason! I use Pinterest and Instagram to drive traffic straight to my email list, where the magic (and the money) happens. The good news? 2. a professional email address ($2.75 per month)
While a Kit email list is completely free, you can’t operate it with a regular, personal email. So no Gmails! My professional email is laura@shysuccess.com and it only costs $2.75 per month. That’s less than a cup of coffee! You’ll also get a free domain (.com name) and free software to build a website – which isn’t necessary if you don’t want a website, but the professional email is essential to running a profitable list.
3. a mid-ticket digital product (free or $150+)
Assuming you want to make money, you’ll need a product to sell or earn commission on. When I started, I was on a super strict budget (due to disability) but I had lots of time. I spent 3 months making a blog building course and sold it for $195. If you don’t have the time or the expertise, I strongly suggest choosing a mid range affiliate product with a high commission rate.
